As many of you know, we have received initial support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, including development funding of £34,800, towards a project totalling in excess of £400,000 for urgent roof repairs. Made possible by National Lottery players, the project aims to secure the historic fabric of the church building for future generations. The repairs to the roof are planned to start in March 2019 and are expected to be completed by August of that year.
Fundraising has now begun in earnest, including seeking grants from other bodies.
The project aims to carry out essential conservation work and, at the same time, make information on the church – its history and people -
The building is a focal point for the local community. It was built in two phases, the main part of the building being built from 1890-
This website page will give details of any fundraising events or activities. Please do support these. Our church has been at the centre of the community of East Finchley for the past 125 years. Please help to ensure that it will be preserved for the next 100 years.
Would you consider making a donation to our roof fund? All donations would be welcome, regardless of size.
If sending a donation by cheque, please make it payable to

Buy a Tile
There is also now an opportunity to buy a tile to help us on our way.
The cost is £5 a tile and you can dedicate this in memory of a loved one/loved ones.
We propose to have a permanent record of all who have made a purchase.
Please mark off your tile(s) purchased on the plan of the church in the Hall
and give your money to Jenny or Cathy.
